Another Guilt Post

Yes I will get rid of this stupid template when I have the time (which will not be for awhile.) I also will not be able to post agian for at least a week so to make up for it I will give you an extra long one now.

Beheadings here beheadings there beheadings everywhere but mostly in Iraq. I am all for protest, especially when it is trying to get rid of an opressor/occupier (even if they are disguised as a liberator.) But I don't think murder is the way to do it. It has been proved time and time again that violent protest very rarely succeeds. While nonviolent protest can work especially in this modern age where nations refuse to negotiate with terrorists and the media covers everything. Beheading people brutally on camera does not make the masses sympathise with you. In fact it pisses people off. (funny that)If the Iraqi's really wanted to get foreign troupes out of their country then shouldn't they be focussing on making the Americans look like the bad guys? Not putting their supporters against them.

It is a sad fact but a true one that working for change is all about marketing. Martin Luther King Jr realised this and utilised it for his birmingham campaign. What better way to make the southern establishment look evil than having pictures of innocent children being assaulted with fire hoses and police dog beamed around the world? Marketing yourself as a cold blooded murderer is not going to do much for your cause.

I hope I am not around when the world dies from a nuclear holocaust.
