Its more about vanuatu!
Its such a beautiful place and I certainly want to go back in the future. They drive on the wrong side of the road, and you sometimes have to be careful walking down the beach as dead coral is pointy. They are currently filming the next survivor there, and accrding to the locals there is almost nothing you cant do with a coconut! We went in the "winter" and some of the locals had the audacity to say that it was to cold to go snorkelling..... at 30 degrees
Iguana's are cute and coconut crabs a pretty scary looking. Don't try and wear a snake for a scarf. Golden rule of snorkelling in the tropics, the prettier something is the more likely it is to try and kill you! SO DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING. As said by the captain of the boat we wen't out in on our last snorkelling trip.
I could quite honestly spend the rest of my days there doing nothing. It seems so surreal there. Detached from the real world. The people are so mellow. As you walk down the street you are immediately identifiable as a tourist (tell tale bag with water bottle, market braided hair, much more skin revealed than neccesary and of course the most obvious, wrong skin colour!) So practically everyone you pass says hello or if you are in a minibus waves at you. They are also very tolerant about godawful singing....
I hope that satisfys the demand and I apologise for drivel that was previous post.
